The Pearl River County Family Association, Inc. (PRCFA) is a non-profit educational, volunteer-based organization made up of Christians of all denominations who are concerned about the breakdown of the family in our community.
Believing that the Family is the God-given foundation upon which each person, our community, and the Nation is built, the mission of the PRCFA is:
- To improve the moral character of the Family; and
- To work toward creating a positive community environment for families and the raising of children.
Our Vision
Our vision is to organize resources from churches and Christians of all denominations in Pearl River County in order to effectively, consistently, and efficiently turn back the tide of moral decay, ethical corruption, and family breakdown.
Our methods are prayer, public education, public awareness, civic action, and Christian counseling.
The PRCFA has changed its name to facilitate incorporation as a 501C charitable organization and to fully cooperate with the American Family Association of which it is a local affiliate.
6/9/2002 - Currently we have 8 committed people writing a minimum of two letters per month to advertisers encouraging them to advertise on family friendly TV shows and politely criticizing their support of anti-family TV. This means that almost 200 letters will be sent this year. We have received an number of positive responses from the advertisers.
